Your feeding methods?
So what method do you use when feeding your Snakes?
My method is I let the rodent thaw out in the same room as my ball, then I blow dry the scent towards the tub at the same time heating the rodent then feed him.
What's your method?
All replies are very appreciated
Thanks

I pick the rat up by its tail using 12 inch feeding tongs and hold it in front of the snake.
I stand ready with a pair of tweezers to prevent bites.
I will never feed frozen/thawed. Too much hassle and I find it to be "boring"
My ultimate goal is an Albino Clown Pied.

I also feed live prey. I just put the prey item in the tub with my snake and I stand by to make sure that no bites happen. It doesn't get any easier then that.

For my pastel, I just thaw out a rat in a cup of warm water for a few hours. I don't even have to hear it up, just dangle it in front of him and he eats it up. My het albino boy will only eat live, tried every way to get him on f/t but he won't go. My retic is still only eating live, I hope to get him on f/t soon. My pinstripe won't eat right now, offered life mouse, rat...nothing. And my new little fire girl has yet to be offered any food but hopefully she'll eat f/t for me.

Wake up Sunday morning(10 am) grab rats for everyone. Put them a container to thaw in the reptile room until 2-4 pm. Right before I need to feed I get really hot tap water and put the rodents in there for 10-20 mins. Feed. Times depend on how hot it is outside. And if someone doesn't eat my carpet gets a extra
Rat.

Toss the prey in a bowl of warm water in a plastic bag, use a spoon and some hard drive magnets to weigh it down and after an hour dangle it with tongs.
Oh and place it somewhere in the house where someone squeemish will poke it before realizing what it is

Well i put one mouse in and make sure nothing bad happens, then rinse and repeat. My guy wont take rats yet lol still trying lol.

Open tub throw rat close tub and repeat
Open tub throw rat close tub
Open tub throw rat close tub
Open tub throw rat close tub
....
Once everybody is fed start back from the beginning and
Open tub, make sure rat is gone, remove rat if un-eaten and repeat...
All the un-eaten rats (not many) usually go as a second serving to the voracious eaters so I don't have to take them back to the rat room.

Re: Your feeding methods?
Friday's when I go on my lunch break at noon I grab the rats out of the freezer and put them in baggies in a tub of cool water. Then when I get off work at 5 they are thawed and I feed them. I don't use tongues just hold those things by the tail and do the dead rat dance.

Re: Your feeding methods?
Still feeding live rat pups/weanlings but about to try first F/T this weekend. Guess it will be trial and error! Very curious to see what she'll make of it.
