The dental flossers are a little tip that Joshua Marki told me. They help keep the eggs stable. When you have a bunch of loose eggs on top of the light diffusers the eggs tend to roll, propping up the flossers are an easy and sterile way to keep them from moving at all. It was an awesome an inexpensive trick.
