Re: show me your piebalds and pied combos

This little guy just hatched last week.

I'm honestly not a huge fan of pieds...not that I don't like them, but I'm just not as stunned by them as I used to be. For me, the prettiest pied combo has been the caramel pied. I definitely look forward to seeing an ultramel pied in the future.

Got this guy a couple months ago courtesy Garrick Demeyer! I loved the color and I am partial to the low white pieds I think the patterns are cool on these guys. Hes just a good ole regular pied but he is super curious and has always been easy to handle, and as a bonus he eats like a big fat pig! This is him at about 250g. I dont have an updated pic but hes around 400g now and still just as bright. Not sure how much the color changes on these guys as they grow.

Re: show me your piebalds and pied combos

Here is my current pied project:

Sorry for the bad pic. All I had is my iPad.

Pied is female and about 2000 grams, and deep in shed. Pastel lesser het pied is male and about 950 grams. If all goes well, she will eventually be giving me a clutch this year.

If the enchi pied stuff would have been more available when I picked up the pastel lesser male, I would have gotten a enchi het pied instead. The enchi pieds are definatly my favorites.
