    Savannah ball back

So I've been looking around at what I would like to produce and a savannah ball is definitely on my list.

My question is if I have a cinnamon with a really clean back with almost no stripping will I be more likely to produce babies with clean backs, or is it somewhat random?

I was wondering because the pictures of them on world of ball pythons shows some that have really clean backs and some that don't.

Ether way they are awesome but those ones with the really clean dorsal are my favorite =P

    Re: Savannah ball back

It wont be 100%, but it increases your odds. My pewter is a blackback, and 90% of his offspring that carry the cinny gene are too.

but there is still the occasional baby that doesnt have it...

Still, you can see how your odds of getting a blackback improve when your working with blackback parents.

I sure hope it influences the odds. I have an amazing blush back cinnamon girl whom I plan to breed to a heavily blushed mojave and with a little good fortune, produce some stellar Savannah babies. If things go my way, I'll know next season.
