    What should I do??

Ok so I have paired my lesser girl up with my spider and lesser male since November and I've witnessed multiple locks but I've never seen anything that looked like an ovy. I was starting to think that maybe she just wasn't going to go this year but this morning when I opened her tub this is what I found. It looks like she's building but being this late in the season I'm not sure what to think. Should I keep pairing her? Any advice would be appreciated.

It's not too late for her to go. I bred from November through April and I'm still getting building and ovulations. Good luck!

If you want, breed her every three weeks or so just to make sure. However, it's probably not necessary. I've gotten good eggs as late as September/October even though I stopped breeding in April.

She definitly looks lumpy. Id say your good to go. You can keep pairing but my guess is she wont want anything to do with him. Plan for eggs soon

    Re: What should I do??

Its definitely not too late. One of my girls just started to develop follicles last week. I would stay keep pairing. Last year I had 2 females go a few months after I had stopped pairing and the results werent great.

    1 good, 1 boob, 2 slugs
    and
    2 good, 1 infertile, 3 slugs

Those were the worst clutches of that season and I think its because I stopped pairing too soon.

What's weird is she only looks lumpy like that when she is hugging her water ball.

I breed year round and I have females at various stages from some that have laid as early as end of February, to clutches due next week, to females building, to females starting to lock with males.

If your female is showing positive signs and is building now is not the time to quit so keep pairing.
