To be honest I've thought the same thing but until I breed her next year I won't know for sure. The animal shelter I got her from told me that the previous owners stated that they had purchased her from a reptile show for their son and that they had paid $600 for her. They also told them that she was a "high end" Spider Ball Python but didn't give any other info on her other than she smelled too bad to keep as a pet.Originally Posted by MasonC2K
When I got into collecting balls I decided to contact every animal shelter within about 75 miles of me to question if they had any and gave them my info to call me if they ever took any in. This is the 5th ball python I have adopted, the other 4 are beautiful adult female normals. I was blown away when I got the call on this girl and even more so when I saw her in person. I paid the $27.00 reptile adoption fee and smiled for days over her. She now has her own tub, eats every 5 days, and I don't smell a thing.
