I plan to have one some day, along with my children. I don't think people have to give up big snakes when kids are involved. If anything it's an opportunity to have young people who know better than the media circus and are able to spread the positive side of large snake keeping. There are definitely precautions to be taken, but it's also a big lesson in responsibility
