Congrats my friend! Glad to see you got one!

Just a friendly tip though. Now this is just my personal opinion and what I choose to do, but I do not like the bark bedding or what ever that is. I use paper towels and they are sooo much better. They are easier to clean. Do not stink since they are easier to spot clean. WAAAAYY less of a choking hazard (mind you a snake can choke on paper towel but its very hard to do) you dont want your new BP to grab a mouse and a mouth full of those chips and you have to stick your fingers down its mouth when it starts choking on a big piece of bark now do yah?

You can use aspen shavings as an alternative but I have used before and my snake got a mouthful of them and that was the last time I ever used them. I use paper towels, other people use news paper or butcher paper. Really up to you. Also paper towels transfer the heat better in my opinion.

    Just a friendly heads up.

hope you enjoy your new snake! Cant wait till you get another one in a month or two!

Thank you for the Heads up Sadly I willl be unable to use Aspen (allergy) and yes I am using Repti Bark my mom uses the same stuff for her M&M snake and my dad inlaw uses it with his snake nate now their MUCH older than Bumble bee tuna hes just a baby Scales and tails Suggets this Repti bark for easy on allergys and dust accumulation, not the problem with paper towels is not an allergy but the smell lingering in the tank or something like that I am very new to this and thank you for your Opinion I do enjoy hearing how other take care of their snakes =) I am doing the Repti bark due to allot of Pro Breeders love this stuff and will not seep down on the cage floor if I take care of his poopies Right.

I can't wait to handle him again but today I am leaving him be for the whole night now to let him chill and be used to his new surroundings
