Is it ok to have more holes near the back of the tub?

I don't know how the heat tape at the back of the tub affects air movement. Is it ok to have more air holes at the back of the tub on the hot end than on the front end? I just want to keep all the adjustment holes where you tape up during dry seasons at the back because it looks crap to have holes taped up on the front of the rack.

Note I have no holes along the sides.

While I'm at it, what REALLY is acceptable humidity? All care sheets say 50 - 60%, but I see people here with 70 or even higher with no issues.

i put holes at the front of the tub lower and holes at the back of the tub higher. It creates an air flow bc the cold air coming into the tub gets heated at the back and rises.

Your humidity is ok as long as your snakes are shedding well.

My snakes are shedding fine, the problem is that the humidity is a bit too HIGH, mid 70s. It is fine in the winter when humidity is low here, but the summer the humidity here is very high in our climate.

I need to put more holes. I now have a nice neat row of holes on the front and back. I want to put more holes only in the BACK because when winter comes along I don't want to tape up holes on the front and the rack looks like tape hell, as long as it doesn't affect the snakes.

So, would it make any difference if I have 11 holes on the front, and 20 in the back near the heat tape end? Does it affect the snake in any bad way?
