    In case of emergency which is a temporary situation the only thing I am worried about is to provide temps that do not fall below 75 degrees, providing a hot spot is not something I would worry about, I would only worry about ambient temps.

    Depending on the situation for example a few snakes having a few heat pack during power outage is a good idea.

    For larger collection is the ambient temps is not adequate having a buddy heater and/or a generator is an investment I would highly recommend.
