    It is not a good idea to keep 2 snakes in the same enclosure. There are several reasons for this first being it stresses both animals. Second if one snake become ill the second is exposed as well. Also it makes it a lot more dificult to keep track of which snake produced stool or regurged ETC. I know you see them in multiples in a pet store (I wont name names) but housing snakes together is a bad idea. They are not social animals and what looks like snakes cuddeling is actually snakes fighting over the good heat source or hide spot in the enclosure. As far as size 2ft is a little large for a hatchling but with plenty of material to hide in it can be made to work
