regurgatation in new BP
I just received , via the Fed-ex truck, my new black pastel BP from BHB reptiles. After unboxing her I got her set up in her new tub and left her alone. I just went to check on her and discovered that she had reguratated her last meal. I'm assuming that the stress from being shipped is what caused the regurg. I know that I need to leave her as undisturbed as possible for the next week or so but is there anything else I need to do? In the past I have always waited a week before offering any new snake it's first meal. Is a week long enough a wait or should I extend the wait since she just lost her last meal?
thanks
Terrie

I would wait 2 weeks before offering and contact the seller in case other problems arise.

I'd be curious to know when the snake was fed last by the breeder (ie the meal that it regurged).

Re: regurgatation in new BP
Hi,
I'd wait ten days and offer a slightly smaller food item than normal just to ease the transition back to normal eating.
Keep the food smaller for a couple of feedings. I'd also contact BHB to let them know it had happened and see what their advice is.

Re: regurgatation in new BP
I just spoke with BHB and they said that they feed every Friday and felt the shipping was the cause for the regurg. I hope that is the case, never had a snake regurg before. She is very pretty and will post some pics in a couple of weeks when she is settled in and eating.
thanks again for the advice
