    You might just need to clean better. Only time I can smell anything from mine is when I open a tub and someone has left a big steamer. Go visit Reptile Basics website. They have a cleaner called F10, works great. Also, if you can't clean your hides thoroughly, maybe you should ditch those and get new. Again, Reptile Basics has some awesome black ones. They look like this (and are super easy to clean)-

    The hide is cleaned thoroughly it does not stink just the enclosure was holding the smell in the one hise is a reptile basics, never had this problem in his glass tank

    I use vinegar based cleaner followed by F10. I find the F10 may not get all the smell out, but the vinegar based stuff will. Also wipe the bottom of the rack shelf above your tub if it is in a rack as stinky condensation can get up there after a good pee.

    Probably just less ventilation and a real stinker combined to make the odor last a little longer.
