Depends, do you need a male Pin? A general rule of thumb is not to trade a female for a male unless you REALLY need the male. If you are not breeding and just want a pet, and prefer a Pin, then that works as well.

it also will depepnd on how big your pastel is.. cause if she over 1000 grams then not really.
cause she will be breeding possible this fall ( if wanting to breed)

I think if both parties are happy with what they're getting the trade is generally good. Those snakes are close enough in value that nobody is getting ripped off.

Me personally, I would not make that trade. A female Pastel is way more valuable than a male pinstripe, no matter the weight. IMO.

    Re: Good trade?

Well, the OP hasn't stated their intentions with the snakes. At their sizes the female pastel(already fairly brown) is at least a season or two from breeding size whereas the pinstripe male(looks to be in shed) could easily go this year. Right now, I'd say their values are about the same. In a couple years however, even a really brown adult pastel female is worth quite a bit more than a breeder male pinstripe.

I wouldn't trade even a hatchling female pastel for a male pin, proven or not...not a good trade, IMO.
