That's just horrible Things WILL get better! You just have to get thru it even when it's pretty bleak looking.

For the cat, sand (playsand is like $5 for a giant bag!) with some baking soda added to it is a VERY cheap litter option if you are as strapped for cash as it sounds. Also some really good cat foods like 4health are pretty cheap.
