Balling up in water bowl. Solved!
A few day ago I began a thread where I asked why my 1500g female has been balling up in her water bowl. I recently re caged my snakes from spacious display cages to rack system (less spacious).
In the cage, she had a hide and large water bowl, and rarely, if ever curled up in it. In new 32qt tub, i could not fit the right size hide, so we went without one. Apparently the water bowl became he new safe spot. I finally found the perfect hide that fits in 32qt tub, and presto, no more water bowl!
The hide is kitten sized litter box from petsmart. 4.99
