I'm a big George Orwell fan. Ray Bradbury, F. Scott Fitzgerald, J.D. Salinger, Victor Hugo, Charles ****ens. Pretty much everything they make you read in school. I just love the classics.
I also really like books by John Green (he is a young adult novelist). You don't see too many serious fiction novels aimed at teenagers these days.
