    Weird position

When I woke up today I did my daily check on every one of my animals to see if they are all right, I saw my female spider ball lying in a weird position in her tub. I don't know it that's a sign of anything, it might just be nothing at all. The photo is her in her position. What ya think?

I should maybe add: tried to breed her from november - january, no eggs. Been off food for 4 - 5 months, shed yesterday. Sorry for double posting.

    Re: Weird position

Have you been breeding her? The plump belly, ridged spine, and uncomfortable position would tell me that she's possibly gravid and moving the eggs into position for laying.

Seeing your new post, I'd say make sure your incubator is set up and expect eggs in the next 27-35 days.

Last lock up was in january, that's also the time I pulled her back from breeding. That's 6 months ago ! She couldn't be gravid, right?

I just took this picture of my pastel girl yesterday, and she's maybe a week away from laying:

2 days ago. It's weird, can ball python retain sperm for 6 months?

Pretty sure I read stories where they retained sperm for a couple years. At least one year
