    Ball python tub sizes

Hey guys I have a question I am gonna purchase a animal plastic's rack.I wanna get 2 racks 1 for my hatchlings/juviniles then my adults the hatchling/juvinile rack can hold 15qt tubs and 32qt tubs I was wondering since I will breed if I can keep hatchlings in the 15qt tubs then when they outgrow it if I can keep em in 32qt tubs then the second rack is the 41qt tubs which I will keep my females in.Oh and can I keep my males in a 32 qt tub for life and my females in 41qt.

Just make sure they have multiple hides so they dont get freaked out by the size. I have heard that some males dont require anything larger than 32 qt but I wouldnt keep my adult males in a 32qt tubs unless they are smaller than 1200g thats just my rule. Also I dont do hides for my adults and my larger juvie balls unless they seem to absolutely need it but for the hatchlings outgrowing the 15qt tubs they will likely be fine provided there are plenty of hides.... and then ofcourse as they start to outgrow their hides you can reduce the number of hides accordingly. I usually wont put more than 2 hides in if you feel like you need more than 2 hides than you need to keep your ball in a smaller enclosure.

If you breed and want to get those baby started without to much trouble (even though some still will) you will need to have them in a 6 quart tub and can keep them there until they are 250 grams.
