    Fire x Normal clutch - Part 2

As yesterday, (6/17/20120) was day 54 for this clutch I decide to cut one of the eggs. This clutch has been a little weird as four of the eggs as of yesterday have yet to dimple. In fact they were still pretty solid. The four eggs candle fine and there is good movement in the eggs.

Anyway...I slit one of the eggs and found the snake to be fine. This morning I found three more eggs had pipped. I decided to cut the other two eggs that were dimpled. Later in the day one of the four non-dimpled eggs had pipped. This clutch was 11 eggs, but one was no ghood from the get go.

Looking promising for a good number of fire's.

Here are a few pics of the little darlings...

More to follow as they emerge from their eggs.

    Thanks for looking.

Woohoo! Glad to see that they are coming out. Good luck with the odds, and not even for my own selfish reasons!

Re: Fire x Normal clutch - Part 2

Two have emerged from their eggs. One fire and not sure, but I think the other is a fire as well. If the second is a normal and female a hold back for sure.

Sorry didn't have time to snap a pic was on my way out the door for work. Should have more out of the egg tomorrow and will get a few pics then.

So this morning 8 babies were out of their eggs. One still not sure bout coming out and one still not pipped.

    Present count...4 fires 4 normals.

Of the 4 fires a quick pop shows 1 male and 3 females.

    Here are a few pics...

Thanks. I did cut a small slit in the last egg this morning. If no change in the egg by tomorrow morning will open the egg more to see what's going on.

Very nice, looks like mamma normal passed on that cool, long neck stripe to some of the offspring. Some sweet babies you got there, congratulations!
