i used to use the heat lamp too, but i think maybe the hair dryer works better because it gets the scent of the mouse in sams tank better (i use the hairdryer on the mouse right in front of his cage, and blow the air towards him)Originally Posted by Dporebski1289
I haven't tried the hair-dryer technique but I'm willing to give it a shot to see if it works. I usually thaw out my fuzzies and put them under a heat lamp for about 5 minutes. My bp seems to strike at it and has no trouble eating (granted, he's only eaten 5 times because I got him about a month ago haha). I've seen the hair-dryer thing done on a YouTube video of a guy who keeps ball pythons so I'm sure it works very well. Thanks for posting!
both times ive done this, he has started peeking out of his hide and flicking his tongue everywhere looking for the mouse =D
