NEW PHOTOS. Help Sex This Albino Ball Please? ( NEW Better Popped Photos)

I had my BF take these with my phone so the are not as good of quality this time but at least he can use the phone lol I am 100% sure it is fully popped. I don't see any red and the are more bump like and not tube like but the still seem to large to just be sent glands?

Based on the pics, looks like the scent glands of a female.

Check it out, the Barkers have an EXCELLENT article on popping on their site. If you click the pics, you can view them larger.

Thank you guys for your opinions and thank you Jen for the link. I am leaning towards female but the sent glands are a bit larger than my normal females and my normal female is a little larger than this albino.

Large scent glands are still scent glands. Hemipenes have blood vessels in them that are clearly visible, and a distinct appearance - what's in those pictures looks like large scent glands, not the base of hemipenes.

If you look at that particular pic in the link, you'll see how much redder the cloaca is in the male snake in that picture, and that's due to the blood vessels there. Your snake is much paler

The question is, when you pop the snake can you find the scent glands? You should be able to see BOTH scent glands, and hemipenes, in a male. Some males DO have abnormally small hemipenes, though it's rare.
If you can't find both, then it is likely a female.

With the last snake I got, the breeder told me something that makes sense..."you can pop a male and be sure that it is male, but you can't positively pop a female, there is a chance that the hemipenes just won't come out. Use a probe for accurately sexing a female."

That makes a lot of sense Jen, thank you for taking the time to explain that. she has absolutely no red down there... I just saw a video of another male albino being popped and I could not see red either so I was thinking maybe you just could not see the red on albinos? I am assuming the video was just poor quality then... I guess I am silly lol

WingedWolf - --Donna I think your name is in your siggy? Thanks a lot for the tip! I only saw those glands.... nothing else! I had never heard of that before. Thanks for letting me know

Yep, I hatched one last year that was 'underendowed', lol. He had me puzzled for a while. Probed male, though. (I generally sex them by popping).

I agree, it looks female, and it looks like you have a decent amount of pressure on her.
