Pastel or beautiful normal? Pics included

Just got this male about an hour ago and he is amazing! They first told me he was a pastel and then today they said he wasn't and had him for eighty dollars anndsince I had kept my eye on him for about a month and it was love at first hold. I was just wondering if I got a MAJOR steal with a pastel or just a really amazing normal. PS his name is Draco from Dragonheart

I'm not concerned either way but I would like to know. He's about a year and a half old and around two- two and a half feet long. He's growing like a weed!

The pictures really don't do him a lot of justice, he is mustard yellow on his sides and they fade to a golden yellow on top my phone is just terrible with colors


This is him when held up to a normal that was also in the store. Like i said really yellow when compared to normals

I'm waiting to get the picture from a friend, They have a golden stripe running across the pupil which really makes me think he isn't a normal

That would be a normal wild type ball python.
Normals come in a vast array of colors and patterns, all that matters is you like him

There's not a thing about him that suggest that he's a pastel.

I'm not sure why lately everyone asks if they have green eyes as the defining characteristic - some normals also have green eyes.

He's a very nice normal - enjoy him!

Will do! He's awesome and really pretty. He'll be a lot bigger than Perritas so I can't complain too much. and they marked the price down for me so instead of 150 he was 80 so I'm a happy camper!
He's absolutely my new baby boy!!!
