What's the longest you've had a female go without eating after laying?

I'm curious about this, as I have a girl that laid 2 months ago today and still has not taken a meal. Up until the other day actually, she has remained coiled as if she has been sitting on eggs, so now that she's out of that position I expect she'll be ready to eat fairly soon. Any other female I've bred has eaten within a day or two of laying, so this is new to me.

longest Ive personally had to wait was a little over a week before she took a meal. The three girls who laid already for me this year have all gone back on food within 4 days of laying.

5-6 days. Did you wash her off and clean her enclosure real good?

Not very long, they're usually pretty ravenous. I've actually found this to be a good time to switch mousers over to rats. Most of my new mothers would probably eat an old shoe if I threw it into their cage.

Sure did...She laid 5 eggs and 4 slugs, so initially I thought maybe there was another slug that she hadn't passed, but there's definitely not. Other than not eating, she's in good shape.

Have you tried different size prey? Sometimes I have a girl that wants a smaller meal a few times to get her going again. But usually its within a week they are chowing down food...

Well, she finally ate tonight...a day short of 3 months after laying. First one to lay this year, last one back on food...these snakes just continually pound into my head that they simply don't follow the rules.

Very true. I've been breeding snakes for over 20 years and every year I find something new that surprises me. The longer I do this, the more I realize how little I really know.
