    those who ride. help?

So so! I would like some help. I am not so knowledgeable in riding motorcycles. i have had my class M for almost a year now.
I currently ride a Genuine buddy 125cc, and top speeds i ride with that, holding the clutch all the way with no problems at all is 60mph.
I currently want to get a motorcycle and am wondering what i could get. I am only 5'. The buddy is 28" to the seat. though it is more narrow.
I was offered a 1994 Yamaha Virago for cheap. the seat is also 28" though wider so i would have to tip toe at a stop. It might not be best for me. I was looking into the Honda rebels though i heard they max at 70-80 mph? I this correct.
Oh i am just at a loss here. Help? any input? something more my size?
I heard ninja 250s are neat. though i do know know if a narrow bike or a cruiser would be best for me? i am not looking to zoom down the street. and do like it to be more relaxing or a ride, which is why i sort of like the cruisers.

Maybe a Honda shadow? My mom has one 500cc not big it's light and she's only like 5'3" she dont have any problems reaching the ground or anything, and it's kinda a cruiser but it's also narrow.

Yea like a Honda Rebel or Suzuki GZ250 if you want more of a cruiser style... just be aware you won't be pulling any hills at speed any time soon.

    Re: those who ride. help?

Most bikes can be lowered in the front, rear, or both if need be. Usually shorter shocks in the rear will do the trick. Aftermarket companies like Progressive Suspension make all kinds of different shocks, etc... to lower bikes. A low profile seat can also help, not as much padding, but you'll sit lower. My wife had an older Honda Shadow, 90's era I think, a 600cc and it sat nice a low in stock form.

a lowered bike is generally harder to turn than a stock height bike. I would say a ninja 250 should be perfect for what your looking for. ive ridden everything from 250s-busas an im short as hell.

Check out the Yamaha V-Star 650's. They are pretty small and light.

You sure your bike isn't an automatic? You said "holding the clutch all the way with no problems at all is 60mph." makes me think you mean throttle and your bike may not have a clutch.

Ok, I just looked up your bike and it is an auto. If you have never ridden a motorcycle with a left handed clutch I really urge you to try a dirt bike first. Would hate for you to lay down a brand new bike.
