First and foremost I am a father to the two greatest little boys in the world and a husband to my wife of over 8 years. I'm 27 and still feel young. Aside from that, I'm a bit of an oddball and am the most ecclectic person that I know. I have a passion for reptiles (obviously) and I got my BS in Ecology and am working an an MS in Rangeland Ecosystem Science but I am a Field Artillery officer on Active Duty in the Army. Add to that the fact that I typically vote democrat but am registered independent and it only gets more strange. I listen to every type of music under the sun save for oldies and opera music. As soon as I am out of the Army I will have livestock ranging from milking goats to sheep to poultry. I love to hunt but want to have pet deer along with the livestock. I love to fish and I I love to have aquariums in the house. I love gardening and growing my own vegetables along with replanting my land in northwest Missouri with native plant species to bring it back to the days of the tallgrass prairie. I would like to have buffalo someday. I am a tree-hugging hippy and think that global warming is going to be the cause of the next great extinction event on the planet. I love cigars, wine, beer, brewing beer, and eating all different kinds of new, unique foods - I'll try anything once. I also love to cook everything from simple ribs and homemade cornbread to awesomeness such as proscuitto wrapped lamb loin chops with sage and qunioa. I am all about organic food and I love to work out, from running half-marathons and marathons and competing in triathlons to lifiting heavy weights in the gym. I love my mountains where I live in CO and go backpacking and camping all the time, never with out my flyfishing rod. I LOVE my 2010 Toyota Tacoma that I bought new back in 2010 and will drive it until it breaks down! I am a huge Kansas Jayhawks fan (my alma mater), specifically Kansas basketball. Go Celtics! Go KC Royals! Go Broncos!
Phew! There is definitely more but I will leave it at that. LOL Basically I enjoy the finer things in life and believe that life is too short not to have fun.
