I agree building. After ovulation they hug the hotspot. But all good signs for eggs.

The bulge stays till after ovy when it goes down and they have the pre lay shed.
Than start to gradually get plump but not like when they ovulate.

After ovy, shed, then about a month later or till she feels like it
You'll see eggs. Congrats and good luck!

Okay, so who wants to explain to me what building is? Based on the context in which it has been used in the thread it is obviously something to do with ovulating/oogenesis but I've never heard the term before. Thanks.

Building correspond to follicle growth. Follicle development is a positive sign however follicle development does not always lead to eggs.

The follicle development starts way before a female start building however at this point it is visible.

Females are not gravid until until they ovulate.

Building can start 6+ weeks prior to ovulation.

The only "real" time line is when the female ovulate at this point it will take about 45 days till eggs (average).

    Looks good :-D

I've noticed my Albino hugging the bowl more lately, and has 2 sheds this month....Not sure if the first shed was suppose to be her one from before, but she had another one last night, and it was almost a full complete shed. She had a huge meal last week. Should I team her up with my enchi and see what happens? She is around the 1300 gram mark. I'd rather let her get bigger though. Thanks (sorry for hacking your thread)
