    Yeah. You have to separate them by sex otherwise, they might start to breed.
    I haven't seen any of my rat pups breed as young as 5 weeks, but better safe than sorry.

    They get weaned by 4(ish) weeks. So smaller than small. I don't know how many grams, but this is what my weans look like:

    The little one on the right is ~3 weeks old.
    The middle is weaned.
    The big one is ~ 5 months old.
