Not overweight at all, not even close.
BP's are very heavy bodied snakes.

I don't own a BP (thanks to my squeamish sister) and while I want a spider web or bee, I look up pictures a lot and I see snakes from known breeders that are FAT plain and simple. This is not it. You're doing great!

Very rarely are breeding BPs (especially females) fat. Females need all the body weight they can get to lay eggs. Males are more at risk but fully grown males are more likely to just get put on a reduced feeding schedule to prevent getting overweight. A lot of breeders will offer their females whatever they want to get them back up to weight after laying eggs and through the breeding season while they'll take them. If you're making your living off of making sure you're getting eggs and hatchlings to sell you want to make sure your females are big enough to produce healthy eggs.

Is she fat? Absolutely not! In fact, judging from that first picture she looks like she is underweight. You shouldn't see her spine like that. The second pic makes her look healthier, but still far from fat. Ball pythons aren't supposed to be built like corn snakes. They are heavy bodied snakes. It really bugs me when I see underweight balls because people can't seem to grasp the concept they are heavy bodied snakes and underfeed them.

Actually those pictures where taken only about one minute from each other.
