A little Aphrodite update (Pic Heavy Warning!)

I'm not sure if anyone will remember, but I picked up Aphrodite back in 2010 as a rescue. When I brought her home, she had a severe mite infestation and was extremely dehydrated and malnourished. I posted pics of her back then and a few of her improvement, but for the sake of those who didn't get to see the changes, I'll post a few in this thread too. This girl has definitely lived up to her name; everyone who handles her falls instantly in love with her gentle and friendly demeanor.

A week after I brought her home. Still working on the mite infestation, which was so bad that she had them crusted in rings around her eyes.


Super skinny, but at least the mites are gone.


Slowly putting on weight.


Finally looking better and filling out nicely.


A healthy appetite.


Her first outing. To this day she still doesn't like the grass and will do anything to get back on your arm.

Awww, thank you. I am definitely a lot happier to have her here. She really is the biggest sweetheart and I'm glad I can give her a much better home.
