i did that once and it ate it, the only reason i did it was because it lost 60 grams (which when she starts off at 300 thats allot) after it did that it took mice and rats readily, that snake after going about 8 months without eating has more than doubled in size in all of a year to a year and a half. last case scenario i am always going to off a gerbil if i need to

Love me some burms bloods and balls looks like you got it all. Like was said earlier probably a better idea to have cleaned the cages and then filmed but you gotta great little collection there. I am too worried about what people think to put a video up before I clean my cages, then again I am a bit OCD and I spot clean mine daily....

And I think we would like to see the new additions....

You have some beautiful snakes in your collection. I too noticed the less than clean tub conditions but gave you the benefit of the doubt since you mentioned it was cleaning day.

I check my tubs every single morning and night for issues. My water bowls get cleaned/disinfected every other day faithfully - I guess each keeper has their own standards.

The only other thing I was wondering about was why each tub didn't have an accurite in them to monitor temps and humidity?? I was always taught to have one accurite in each tub.

Again, you do have some beautiful snakes. Congrats.

I think you will see a lot of disagreement with a Accurite in every tub. I surely do not do that. I monitor one tub for averages then spot check the others.

No, I don't monitor every tub, either--I pick one in each rack to monitor. I use a temp gun to spot check occasionally, but unless something goes wrong with the flexwatt, they're all going to be within 5 degrees, when the rack uses a single length of it. As for humidity, I eyeball that. Works fine, lol.
