Looks like a really good start!Once you cover that lid with some plexi you will notice a huge difference. The only other thing I would recommend is think about putting some fake plants in there to take up some of the open space....especially overhead. If you make the tank feel smaller for your BP, he will be less likely to get stressed and go off feed. You can get the kind that suction cup to the glass at pretty much any big box petstore.
Maybe I missed it in the previous posts, but where did you end up getting your BP from?
I ended up getting it from a local breeder at Pets Galore on Grinstead Drive in Louisville. That guy (i cant recall his name, i suck) was very helpful and he made sure it had eaten 3 times before I picked it up. Gave me some supplies and a lot of help. He also helped my wife get comfortable with the snake by helping her hold the adult BP's he had there. My wife quickly went from freaked out to really enjoying them with his help.
