what is this morph?
I got this girl in a bundle of ball pythons. the guy I got her from claimed it is a vanilla pastel, but I just don't know. she certainly doesn't look like a typical pastel. sorry the picture quality is crappy. any input would be great! thanks!

I'm going to say that that isn't a vanilla pastel, the pattern is too busy for that... very hard to tell from the picture, (could you get one that shows the color better?) but I would guess that it is just a pastel
This is what a vanilla pastel looks like:

Re: what is this morph?
yep. I'll get some better pictures as soon as I get home. she is a cream color. very little, if any yellow at all.

It looks like a Axanthic Pastel! Better pics would help.

A quick google search will reveal pastel vanillas with heavier patterning than the photo he posted..... I don't see pattern changing with either morph or together.
You need to get a true color picture for us to even have a chance of telling. Even with that, it can still be hard to tell. I can tell it's at least pastel, blushing and the way the side change colors make it look like one at least. Vanillas have a head marker like fires typically, yours appears to have something, but not a very strong head marker, so i'll leave you with.... give us something other than a gray scale picture

Pastel for sure. Anything else it's just hard to say. If these pictures are as close to her true colors as you can get, I hesitate to say Vanilla Pastel.
Of course, that could also be her care. For an example, my husband bought the ugliest super pastel I have ever seen, because she was cheap. She was also a known problem feeder, and why he thought that was a good idea I'll never know. Anyhow, she was this disgusting faded cream and greyish black. Not one bit yellow like a super pastel should be.
However, after months of struggling on our part [ i.e. my part ] to get her eating consistently, she started turning yellow. Now she's never going to be a high quality super pastel, but she does at least look like one now.
So perhaps, just maybe, yours might develop better colors with good care. I have seen it happen firsthand, so I know it does happen.
My only other suggestion to you is, if you can hold her up next to her pictures, and that is what she looks like for sure, call her a heavily blushed pastel for now. If the colors still aren't right, it might help to try for sunlight pictures, and in grass maybe ?
