Ok, so after leaving the heat lamp on it's own power for an hour, still over the cool side, the ambient and cool side temps are now over 80. I've turned down the thermostat to 96, which should bring the glass down to around 92.

Scooting the lamp over to the middle now, hope I can get things just about perfect.
