Breeding seasons for males?
I know females need a lot of time to regain all their strength, weight, and nutrition from breeding season, but what about males?
In case I'm not clear, here's my problem:
My big normal gal is finally over 1500 grams (yay ). My pinstripe though is still at around 1100 grams, and I want to wait until she's at least 1500 grams .
My enchi lesser male will probably have the weight on him before the pin is ready to breed.. Could I breed him to my normal, then to my pin once she's ready? Or should I just wait for my pin?

breeding to multiple females is a common practice. If the male is 500 grams im pretty sure ive heard of people pairing them to 2-4 snakes. I say just wait until your pin gets to 1500 then breed him to both at the same time. The extra weight on your normal girl may give you an extra egg from her

Re: Breeding seasons for males?
I breed males year round...
I would start with one girl and move to the next when she's ready.
They only need to lock once or twice a month...So 2 girls won't wear him out!

Man..... This is a tough choice XD.
I don't mind waiting... My only problem is the, going into "breeding mode" thing. What if he goes off feed o_O? I dont want him to stop eating XD. Hes a beast

He may go off feed after being introduced and he may not. But even at that smaller size shouldn't be an issue as long as you monitor his weight. Also, like someone above me said, if he is only going to 2 girls that is only 2-4 pairings a month and he may eat in between. I'd breed him to the normal then the pin when she is ready...

Hm. He's currently around 400 grams, give or take 20 or so.. So i have some time. I'm hoping to get him to 600-700 grams. I got a couple months. Thanks for the info, fellas.
