glass doors
ok so here it goes....ive been building racks for years now and i can almost do it in my sleep....my problem is now i want to build cages.....now i get what materials to use, heating, lighting, and vents....what i dont get is the doors...im gonna make sliding glass doors an i know the measurements what i dont know is glass or acrylic??? how thick??? where to get the glass??? and where to get the tracks???? however i do understand how to install them......any help would be really appreciated THANKS

For the doors go with tempered Glass 1/4in because that is the standard track size 
Get the glass and sliders from a local glass shop I got all my stuff from Goldfinch Bros Glass here in Seattle but I am sure there is a local company close to you.
You may have to make a call or 2 I did but once I found a good supplier they have been great my doors are 10.25 X 22.5 in and Glass, Tracks, Stick on Handles cost me about $40 so good luck and I am sure there is a Glass shop near you

Tempered glass is vey expensive average 25$ sq foot. It takes ages to get as well as it can't be cut after tempering. I just use regular plate glass. 1/4 inch.
