My BPs haven't stopped eating even during a shed so I guess it depends on the BP.

But if mine doesn't eat while she's in shed, she devours a rat right after she gets her skin off

No, you shouldn't be worried. Search "BP won't eat" and you'll find literally thousands of threads where people were freaking out unnecessarily. These are ball pythons, it's what they do. If you don't have one already, get a digital kitchen scale and start monitoring his weight (mine get weighed every few weeks or monthly). When he starts dropping 10+% (not counting defecations), then you start getting concerned. If he's been eating regularly until now, he might just be waiting to leave you a big stinky present before he eats again. Oh, and don't offer him every day, just keep offering on his usual schedule.

Mines usually eat right after they shed and leave little brown gifts for me to clean up. Just saying...lol

YES! Haha it's like every time mine sheds, she leaves me a little present, and then she eats like a champ.

Mine get pretty ravenous after a shed and they usually let it be known with that smelly present.
