    Getting into it?

I have been keeping snakes for a little while now. I started with 6 corns but now I am down to 1. I recently got a 1yr old male ball python from a guy who has a bunch of ball pythons. I have been getting in touch with him a lot more than I thought I would be and now he has two more ball pythons that I want.

1yr old male (pattern reduction, cool banding)

Here is the female he said he will sell me. We planned to breed to one of his males and I'd keep the clutch then breed from there.

Here is the hatchling he has that I am interested in. Don't know yet if female or male but I like the pattern.

So what do you guys think as far as breeding the female to a pastel male? And do you see any good breeding out of the 1yr old male?

Males that are 1 year old should be ready to breed and he looks pretty good. Will you be breeding him to some females from the guy you bought him from? Will you be splitting the clutch if you do?

Pastels are great for starter just know that you will definitely want to consider getting something like a spider or pinstripe or both (or anything for that matter) to breed to any pastel offspring you produce. You could create bumblebees and lemonblasts which are pretty cool and of course hold back 1 or 2 and then add some more for later breeding projects. Before you know it your collection is gonna be huge.... sorry kinda rambling there... anyway good luck with you lady getting some healthy offspring when you breed her.
