    Question Mouse Urine

Today I fed my girl Cleo a mouse, simple enough right? When she was constricting it, it took a wizz all over her! Can she get an infection? Should i put her in verrrry shallow warm water and "clean" her?

I wouldn't worry about her - I've never heard of snakes getting sick/infections from mouse urine/feces.

No need to worry, and do not soak her, soaking can dry out their scales (leading to bad sheds) and stress them out. Soaking should only be done in certain extreme cases.

    Re: Mouse Urine

Did she eventually eat it? If so, let her be until she digests; handling too soon after a feeding is more dangerous than a little mouse pee. In a few days you can certainly rinse her off with some water and maybe a touch of mild soap if you want, but I don't think it's a big concern.

Urine is sterile until it leaves the body, just to throw that out there.
