I do a lot of hunting and hiking up in Northern Ontario so I have seen my fair share of rattlers. A few years back me and some buddies were on out way out for an early morning goose hunt around 5:30 in the morning and I stepped on one. Before I could see it with my Head-Lamp it struck me in the leg, my Irish Setter snake boots sure came in handy that day. I never go anywhere up North without them.
The Bruce Trail, Rouge Valley and Niagara Escarpment are great places to go for a hike to see some Herps, great plant life and an array of other animals.
