I got stabbed in the thumb by a vet that was trying to euthinize a cat, i was 6 months pregnant, thankfully the syringe was still full, it was not enough to harm a human, just a 6 lb cat. So that was fun! I never had an infection or anything bad happen.
omg!

I'm an artist and have "this thing" about my fingers, especially my fingertips.
I'd rather take a punch in the nose than accidentally poke myself with a safety pin.
[which I just did while rooting through a junk drawer. Ouch!]
When I was in high school, my boyfriend's dad was the quality control inspector for the A-10 "Warthogs" at Fairchild.
He took us into the hangar to see one and was demonstrating 'quality control' by feeling the plane's 'skin' and pronouncing it 'flawless'.
About 20 seconds later, I'd felt it myself and found several lumps and bumps that weren't supposed to be there.
I just have really sensitive fingers.
[Thank goodness Norma tagged me on the knuckle or I'd have probably shrieked]

I'm hypoglycemic and my doc gave me one of those blood sugar test gizmos and you must poke your fingertip when testing for low blood sugar.
I used it three times and said forget this, I'll just snack on protein more often.

I would be deeply concerned if I were you! Syphilis, Gonorrhea, Herpes and Asnephatonalitis all originally derived from "interior snake germs"!! I would be on the look out for live threatening symptoms such as: coughing, sneezing, watering eyes, runny nose and laughing.
