    Snakes on a Train!

    A coworker of mine sent me this link. He lives close by and the local rag had originally released that there was a 'Rattlesnake' in the train station... I think not.

    hahah don't be too sure! The missasauga rattler would be coming out in this weather! Similar pattern too! tail doesn't look rattler to me though haha but it's hard to see from the picture.

    I hear yah... I don't expect the average commuter to be able to identify the specific species of snake, figured the newspaper may do some reasearch though... lol

    Typically I stumble across a few Eastern Massasauga rattlers each year when I am hiking in Northern Ontario. For the most part they are very docile and although mildly venemous they are rather harmless. I still wear my snake boots though when I'm on a hike in their territory.

    nice! hahah I have actually never seen one in person. I am more of a city guy haha! only time im in the wilderness if to bike.
