Blocked Vents?
My BP has 2 of his vents on the sides of his face that almost look like little crusty boogers are on them (only way i could put it). What does this mean? Will he be ok? Will they go away? And what is happening when they make a wheezing sound?

Re: Blocked Vents?
Never heard of that happening to a snake. If you could post some pictures we may be able to get a better understanding of what's happening.
Wheezing on the other hand, could mean an RI.

Re: Blocked Vents?
You may have not seen my edit, so I'll post again, it could me a respiratory infection. I would try increasing the heat by 10 or so degrees, then see if it clears up. If that doesn't help, try visiting the vet.
There's another method with F10 and a steamer if you have it. Don't really remember it off the top of my head so I don't want to give misguided info.

kayrussell, we call those heat pits. The vent can be found on the other end of the snake, if you know what I'm sayin'.
The boogers and wheezing could be signs of an RI. Can you find any evidence of mucous smeared on his water bowl or on the sides of his enclosure?

NOT A STEAMER!!!! it is a ultrasonic mister or humidifier/fogger. Typically the recommended is a new one like this...

I would not suggest this as a treatment with out a vet visit! I would suggest a vet visit and a culture be done. It is the best way to treat RI
