Beautiful shots! When a Doe puts a Fawn under cover like that, do they usually wonder off far, or do they stay close?

Usually when we see fawns they're sticking pretty close to mom, this one's really young though and I haven't seen the doe all day. I talked to some of the neighbors and they were saying that the fawn was stashed away in their yard yesterday and they didn't see the doe all day either. I would imagine that mom will reclaim the little guy sometime tonight after dark.
