Hatchling hide size?
Hi guys!
I'm new to the forum. (Well, I've been creeping quietly for a while)
I'm getting a hatchling spider ball python later this fall!
Approximately what size hide is comfy for a hatchling ball?
[I'm making them out of waterproof oven-bake clay, because it's fun and they look snazzy]
I just don't want to make it way too big or way too small. Though I suppose I could always pack it with moss or something if it was too big.
And how big should the entrance be for a little hatchling head?
Thanks!

You want the hide to be snug, they love to feel secure and a nice small hide will do the trick.

Reptile basics small size, (you could use one as a mold even)

Thank you!
I'll use the dimensions for the mini-hide then, I guess?
5.5x3x1
