What Size Should I Expect?

I went to pick it out of the bag and it turned its head towards me, and I was like, "Nu-huh." It would have been my first time holding a snake. So I put the whole bag in the cage and she let herself out. I think I'll give her time to settle in (thinking about a week?) then have her eat, leave her two days, then try to pick her up.

Poseidon, part of being a snake keeper is handling the snake. Now that she's in the tank, I agree that you need to let her settle in and eat a couple of times, but then you really need to get over it and pick her up.

Handling her will be essential for husbandry and maintenance...not to mention they're pretty cool animals to hold.
