    Poseidon, part of being a snake keeper is handling the snake. Now that she's in the tank, I agree that you need to let her settle in and eat a couple of times, but then you really need to get over it and pick her up.

    Handling her will be essential for husbandry and maintenance...not to mention they're pretty cool animals to hold.
