So i have my snake in a glass tank 75 gallon but the more i read the forums the more i like the idea of a tub. How much would it cost me to get a nice tub set up for a 2 1/2 year old bp(sadly no scale yet) and what are the resell vaules on glass tanks lol.

Check out Vypyrz basic tub setup. It doesn't cost too much and is easier to maintain.

A tub will cost you around 7-12 dollars depending on the size/brand.
Everything you have used with your tank heat pad, thermostat, water dish and hides can be used in the new setup.
As for the resell value of a tank well a few years back I gave mine free so it would not sit around in my house forever.

A 41qt tub at walmart/target is $11 and a 32qt is $8. Your male would only need a 32 but if you wanna give him some extra space then a 41qt would be fine too. Like deborah said you can use all the same stuff in the tank that you are using now.
Can the tank hold water? If it can then i would just put an ad on craigslist thats says "75 gallon fish tank- make offer. Can hold water."
There seems to be more fish enthusiasts out there than herpers so if it can hold water then you might be able to get like $40 for it im guessing.

Well looks like someone gets a75 gallon tank for xmas this year and i actually have a over the cage heart source so probably cant use that.

A heat mat or some flexwatt tape isn't going to run you more than $15. Just make sure you are using a thermostat!
You'll like the tub, it will make cleaning day a breeze

Re: Switching
I hate to say it thats the main reason i want to do it, i use eco earth currently and lets just say cleaning all that out of a 75 gallon tank was a job lol.

Get one of Ultratherm heatmats and you won't be disappointed. I loved mine.
