    F/T Rats

I was wondering where you guys purchase your rats. I got 2 packs of 2 small rats 50g each for 10 bucks at petsmart. After doing a quick google search I found a couple online venders and sell pups 20-29g 25 for $20 and weaned 30-44g 25 for $25 bucks.

    Thanks

Anytime I've ordered online it's been from RodentPro. Usually I'll share a box with someone and we'll split the shipping. In between orders I go to my local reptile shop, not Petco or the sorts.

My next order is going to be with Big Cheese Rodent Factory. They vacuum seal their rats so they will survive in the freezer longer. I've ordered from RodentPro and don't have any complaints, just looking to get a longer shelf life.

I bought ny first order from rodentpro but now use http://www.loxahatcheerodents.com/. Best prices that I've found and the shipping was half what rodentpro charged me. The rat pups I bought seem of very high quality and like mentioned about big cheese, they were vacuumed packed.

    Re: F/T Rats

I shop at Rodentpro.com and have always been happy with them. They only do big bulk orders, which is perfect with my big collection. Their rodents come in ziplock freezer bags, which I immediately place inside of larger sealed plastic containers inside my freezer to keep them fresher longer.

I've ordered from RodentPro and purchased from vendors at local expos. Now I just breed, euthanize and freeze my own.
