Don't give up hope dear.

Some time after I joined this forum years ago, someone posted the most unbelievable story I had ever heard. Apparently they had lost a snake, a cornsnake I believe. After months of searching, they gave him up as lost and eventually moved. Almost 18 months after it disappeared, it showed up in the middle of the kitchen floor of the house they used to live in, scared the daylights out of the new owners. Fortunately, they had mentioned loosing him as one reason why they wanted to move, so the new owners didn't kill it thinking it was a wild snake.

But think about that, 18 months of being heaven knows where, and then all of a sudden, here he is like nothing happened. Apparently, he wasn't even sick or all that skinny. He went back home with them, to a brand new much more secure cage, and lived happily ever after.

So, don't ever stop hoping.
