@Travis: That's horrible. I hope you'll receive it soon, otherwise if I were you, even if you called already, I would keep on calling them persistently until it does come.

@Mark: My friend and I are youth volunteers (We're going to become senior ones next year since we're almost 18) at my local zoo, and we were talking to a snake owner over there while discussing housing. She said that if you ever have the option of getting racks or aquariums, aquariums are better. (Ball pythons and boas) I had my doubts since I've already done plenty of research on snakes (trying to become a zoologist with an emphasis on herpetology) and from what I know they like to be secure in a appropriate sized place with just enough hiding places so they don't overly stress. That and the native home for the ball python is termite mounds (?) and underground. But, I've never housed a snake before so I technically only have booksmart and handling skills, not housing.

Also, does anyone know of any good containers/racks that are sold in store? Perhaps a large chain store like Walmart, Ikea, etc.?
